Escamilla left Saturday's Leagues Cup clash with Portland Timbers due to physical discomfort.

Escamilla failed to impress before being replaced by Jaime Gomez in the final minutes of the weekend game. The holding midfielder has played more than 70 minutes in each of the last eight matches considering all competitions, so his absence would leave an important void in Gallos' starting lineup. Both Eduardo Armenta and Fernando Gonzalez Pena could remain active in central positions if Escamilla is ruled out due to the injury.
