Leart Pacarada News: Signs with Heidenheim
Pacarada has signed a contract with Heidenheim until 2027, joining on a permanent move from FC Koln, his new club announced. "We are delighted to welcome Leart, an experienced player who has consistently demonstrated his qualities as a top player at SV Sandhausen, FC St. Pauli and, most recently, 1. FC Koln. We have naturally known him for a long time from our numerous duels. We have repeatedly emphasized in recent weeks that we still see a need for a left-back in our squad. With Leart, we are filling the void left by the departure of Frans Kratzig. He particularly excels with his dangerous crosses and set pieces. We are convinced that Leart can immediately make a positive contribution to our team," said FCH President Holger Sanwald.
Pacarada was raised in the youth systems of Werder Bremen and Bayer Leverkusen. The left-back joined SV Sandhausen in 2014, where he became a top player in the second division for six years. Pacarada has made 278 appearances in the second division, but also 17 Bundesliga matches and 21 DFB Cup matches. He has also been an integral part of the Kosovo national team for years. Since his debut in June 2016, he has already made 30 international appearances.
