Luke O'Nien Injury: Pens extension

O'Nien signed an extension with Sunderland through 2027, the club announced.

O'Nien will miss the start of the season with a shoulder injury, but that doesn't take away from how important a piece of the first team he's expected to be. The club rewarded his importance with a new deal through the end of the 2027 campaign. O'Nien appeared in all 48 matches in the Championship as Sunderland earned promotion.
