Malik Henry News: Assists as substitute in draw

Henry assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal), one cross (one accurate) and two chances created in Saturday's 1-1 draw against Philadelphia Union.

Henry took advantage of his 15 minutes on the field to generate offensive actions, setting up Deandre Kerr's equalizer through a cross in stoppage time. The 23-year-old also won two duels and made two tackles (one won) in his second appearance of the season. The assist represents his first direct contribution in league play, and could help him push for a more significant role going forward. In that case, he might challenge Theo Corbeanu on the right wing.
