Malik Tillman Injury: Dealing with injury

Tillman will have to wait to play his first minutes with Bayer Leverkusen since he is dealing with a stress suffered in team training, according to BILD.

Tillman missed the last two preseason friendlies due to a stress injury and will also miss the upcoming one against Chelsea on Friday. It is still unclear whether the new Leverkusen playmaker will be available for the start of the Bundesliga campaign, although the club has stated that a serious injury is not currently the case. If he has to miss time, Amine Adli or Nathan Tella are expected to take on a larger role in the frontline.
