Marc Guiu News: Loaned to Sunderland

Guiu completed a loan move to Sunderland from Chelsea for the 2025/26 campaign.

Guiu was behind a backlog of attacking options with Chelsea, but will earn more chances with Sunderland. Eliezer Mayenda is likely to be Guiu's main competition for the starting job, though Sunderland could also opt for a two striker formation. Guiu is a product of Barcelona's academy, but has made just nine total league appearances at the senior level across time at Barca and Chelsea.
