Marco Friedl Injury: Training alone Thursday

Friedl (knee) was training alone Thursday and remains doubtful to play against Monchengladbach on Sunday, the team announced.

Friedl was eyeing a return to action after the international break, but the fact that he's training alone only a few days before Sunday's match isn't exactly encouraging. The veteran defender played the full 90 in the season-opening loss to Frankfurt and didn't see action against Leverkusen on Aug. 30.
