Marcos Alonso Injury: Suffers knee discomfort

Alonso is suffering from knee discomfort to his right knee and will be sidelined for the time being to recover, the club announced.

Alonso is dealing with discomfort in his right knee and missed Sunday's 1-1 draw against Villarreal for that reason. The defender will likely be assessed next week to determine if he can return for the next league game against Girona on Sept. 14. That said, if he has to miss some time and the injury turns out to be serious, Carlos Dominguez could start in the back three until he returns.
