Odegaard is working on his fitness and is eyeing a return to more minutes moving forward, the player stated to his club. "It's a bit of a different situation, because this is not like an injury where you're not fit and then you are fit, but the shoulder feels good now. It's been two weeks and I feel a lot stronger. The pain is fine now, it's been more about getting that strength back and I really feel like I'm back there now. So hopefully I can get back into the rhythm and get some more minutes in games consistently."

Odegaard was back on the field last match for Arsenal in a bench slot, appearing for eight minutes late to earn an assist. However, he is still rebuilding fitness and working his way back to regular feeling, the reason for his limited time. He will now look at earning more minutes in future matches, with the midfielder expected to return to his starting role soon, as he started in three of his four appearances before the injury.
