Lusuardi sustained a grade one left biceps femoris strain during a friendly, Pisa announced.

Lusuardi will miss the first two Serie A matches of the season and will be re-evaluated during the break. Arturo Calabresi and Daniel Denoon are next in line in the Pisa backline.
