Mathew Ryan News: Signs with Levante UD

Ryan has signed a contract with Levante UD for the 2025/26 season with an option for one more year, the club announced.

Ryan was formed in the youth teams of Blacktown City and Central Coast Mariners, making his professional debut with the latter in 2010. The goalkeeper has played for clubs including Valencia, Genk, Brighton, Arsenal, Real Sociedad, FC Copenhagen, AZ Alkmaar, Roma, and Lens, and he has been a long-time captain for Australia, featuring at the 2014, 2018, and 2022 World Cups. Ryan now returns to the Spanish top flight and will likely hold a backup role behind Pablo Cunat.
