Mats Wieffer Injury: Back in contention

Wieffer (knee) is back in contention for Saturday's clash against Tottenham, coach Fabian Hurzeler said in the press conference, according to Andy Naylor from The Athletic.

Wieffer missed the last two games of the Seagulls due to a knee injury but has fully recovered from the issue since he is back in contention for Saturday's clash against the Spurs. The versatile midfielder started the two first games of the season at right-back and will likely be in competition with Joel Veltman to claim that spot back moving forward.
