Matt Targett News: Joins Middlesbrough on loan
Targett has joined Championship side Middlesbrough on loan for the 2025/26 season, his parent club announced.
Targett has made 47 appearances for the Magpies since joining from Aston Villa in 2022. The defender now joins a Boro side that have started the season strongly under coach Rob Edwards and currently sit second in the table. His objective will be to gain playing time after recovering from injury setbacks in recent years.
