Backhaus stopped training Tuesday morning at Bremen's pre-season camp in Zillertal after feeling tension in his hamstring. The backup goalkeeper did not take part in Tuesday afternoon's session and will aim to recover in time to earn minutes during the pre-season. He is expected to be the main backup to Michael Zetterer this season and will have a role to play for the green and whites at just 21-years-old.
