Mohamed Farsi Injury: Undergoes surgery Wednesday
Farsi (pelvis) underwent sports hernia surgery on Wednesday and his return date is yet to be determined, according to Brianna Mac Kay of the Columbus Dispatch.
Farsi has missed all of the Crew's games since early July and underwent surgery on Wednesday to treat a sports hernia. This is a setback for the midfielder since his timeline for return remains uncertain and it is unlikely he will be back before the end of the regular season. That said, Andres Herrera will continue to replace him on the right flank until he returns fully fit for Columbus.
