Nelson Deossa Injury: Week from return

Deossa (ankle) is out for Monday's match against Elche, according to manager Manuel Pellegrini. "Nelson has not yet joined the squad, he has a week of field work with a Physiotherapist."

Deossa will not make the opener and will wait a week for his return, still needing more time to get up to the right levels. That said, he will look to take the field next week when facing Alaves, scheduled to return then. He will likely be a rotational option once fit, so this is a minor loss.
