Nemanja Matic News: Signs with Sassuolo

Matic has agreed to a one-year contract with a conditional option with Sassuolo.

Matic returns to Serie A, where he previously played at Roma, after two years in France at Rennes and Lyon. He notched nine crosses (three accurate), 42 tackles, 18 interceptions and 30 clearances in 29 Ligue 1 matches last season. He'll be a linchpin once up to speed physically, pushing youngsters Luca Lipani and Andrea Ghion down the pecking order.
