Neto News: Joining Botafogo

Neto has completed a permanent transfer from Bournemouth to Botafogo, his former club confirmed Friday.

Neto was expected to spend the 2025/26 season as the backup goalkeeper behind Djordje Petrovic, but he'll return to Brazil instead. He figures to have a decent shot at playing regularly with Botafogo if John Victor leaves the club, which could very well end up being the case in the coming weeks. Neto made two starts for Bournemouth in 2024/25, allowing two goals and making 11 saves.
