Nicolas Ibanez Injury: Picks up foot injury

Ibanez will be sidelined for an unknown period after hurting his right instep during Thursday's training session.

Ibanez is not available for the next match against Cruz Azul but could use the international break to get back into peak shape afterward. The striker was in poor form over his most recent appearances, recording just one goal in eight games played across all competitions since July 29. Furthermore, he had been relegated to a backup role behind Angel Correa, Andre-Pierre Gignac and Edgar Ivan Lopez, all of whom should continue to compete for starts in upcoming rounds.
