Nikita Haikin News: Eight saves in draw

Haikin made eight saves and allowed two goals in Wednesday's 2-2 draw against Slavia Prague.

Haikin repelled eight of Slavia Prague's 10 shots on target as Glimt earned a share of the points in the 2 - 2 draw. The appearance marked the Champions League debut for the veteran keeper who had previous made 22 Europa League starting appearances for Glimt between 2022 and 2025. Haikin is like to face a difficult challenge in his next Champions League appearance as Glimt are set face-off against Tottenham Hotspur in a home matchup on Sept. 30.
