Noni Madueke Injury: Edging closer to return

Madueke (knee) is edging closer to a return and wasn't officially ruled out ahead of Saturday's match against Sunderland.

As usual, Mikel Arteta was vague during his press conference and hinted that one of the injured players could return. Madueke might be closest and there were rumors he returned to training this week, though nothing has been confirmed. Either way, no matter who returns, they won't slot into the XI or be expected to play an extended amount of minutes. Madueke has been out since late September and will gradually build fitness over the break.
