Noni Madueke Injury: Getting closer to return

Madueke (knee) is getting closer to return, coach Mikel Arteta said in the press conference, according to Simon Collings from The Standard. "Noni is getting closer. He's going to start very soon to do some running and stuff and then again, let's see how that reacts."

Madueke is progressing well in his recovery from a knee injury but isn't yet available for the Gunners. The winger missed the last three games across all competitions but his return shouldn't take much longer. That said, with the comeback of Bukayo Saka, it remains to be seen what role Madueke will play in the frontline since he was an undisputed starter at the start of the season.
