Omar Marmoush Injury: Could return after break

Marmoush (knee) could return after the October international break, manager Pep Guardiola revealed in Tuesday's press conference before facing Monaco in the Champions League. "Hopefully after Brentford we will have many players back - hopefully Omar [Marmoush] will be back."

Marmoush suffered an injury with Egypt during the September international break, and while he won't be an option to face Brentford on Sunday, it sounds as if he might be able to return after the break. Marmoush has been limited to three appearances (two starts) in league play this season, tallying five shots (two on target), two chances created and two crosses.
