Pierre Ekwah News: Completes permanent transfer

Ekwah has completed a permanent transfer from Sunderland to St. Etienne, his former club confirmed Thursday.

The midfielder spent the 2024/25 season on loan with the French club, and while there was a rumor of him returning to England, in the end, he'll stay with Les Verts on a long-term basis. Ekwah made 29 starts for St. Etienne in 2024/25, tallying one goal, 57 tackles, 47 interceptions, 73 clearances and 16 chances created.
