Sterling wasn't in the squad Friday as he prepares for a transfer away from Chelsea. It's unclear where he will land, but the club have made it clear that they don't see him having a future there. New signings Estevao and Jamie Gittens all but guarantee that Sterling would be buried at the bottom of the depth chart even if he remains.
