Raphinha (thigh) was hoping to be fit to feature against Girona but will need more time to recover from his injury and will aim for a return against Real Madrid on Oct. 26, according to Javier Miguel of AS.

Raphinha will require more time to fully recover from his thigh injury, as he has not yet resumed team training. Reports indicate he will likely miss the games against Girona and Olympiakos while aiming to return against Real Madrid for the Clasico. His absence will force a change in the frontline since he is an undisputed starter under coach Hansi Flick, with Marcus Rashford and Fermin expected to take on larger roles for the Blaugranas while Dani Olmo (calf) remains out for several weeks.
