Rayan Cherki Injury: Set to miss two months
Cherki is expected to be out for the next two months due to a quadriceps tear, coach Pep Guardiola said in a press conference. "He's out for two months. Seven or eight weeks."
Cherki looks to be heading towards the sidelines for a lengthy period, as he suffered a quadriceps tear just ahead of the international break. This is a tough break for the new signing, as he is still trying to make his way into a team with a loaded attack. He will now eye a return around the end of October to the start of November, leaving space for Tijjani Reijnders and Ilkay Gundogan to earn more time while he is out.
