Riccardo Calafiori Injury: Won't play in Wednesday friendly

Calafiori (undisclosed) will not feature in Wednesday's friendly, according to manager Mikel Arteta. "Everybody's going to be okay, apart from Riccy, it's going to be a bit too early for him tomorrow ."

Calafiori is still battling the discomfort he felt in the club's most recent match, which will now leave him out for another friendly. This continues to prolong his return, but the good news is he does seem to be close, likely seeing the field again soon. He still has a few more weeks until the start of the season to be fit, probably seeing a bench spot to begin the campaign.
