Lewis assisted once to go with one cross (zero accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 4-0 victory over Wolverhampton.

Lewis was given the start in the season opener for a second straight season on Saturday, playing 66 minutes before he was replaced by Matheus Nunes. He would earn an assist before leaving the field, finding Erling Haaland in the 34th minute for the opening goal of the season. The question remains if he will maintain this role this season, as he was quickly switched to a rotational role last season before Nunes saw most of the starts on the right of the defense.
