Robert Morales Injury: Dealing with injury

Morales was inactive in Tuesday's Leagues Cup contest against Columbus Crew because of an undisclosed injury, Andres Gonzalez of TV Azteca reports.

Morales scored twice in his lone start of the current season before succumbing to a physical problem. While it's possible he'll remain out during the Leagues Cup, the Red Devils have their front line well covered with two-time Liga MX scoring champion Paulinho and star Alexis Vega. However, Morales should be a useful backup option at some point if he manages to avoid a major issue.
