Rodrigo Mendoza News: Travelling to U20 World Cup

Mendoza was called up by Spain for the upcoming U20 World Cup in Chile.

Mendoza has started in three of Elche's four matches in LaLiga this season, so his absence will be significant from a depth perspective. He should return to the squad in late October, with Federico Redondo being an option to take his place in midfield. The Spanish squad will travel to Chile on Monday, however, so Mendoza could be available if needed to face Oviedo on Sunday.
