Rodrigo Muniz Injury: No clear return date

Muniz (strain) is out for Saturday's game against Newcastle United, manager Marco Silva told media Thursday. "Chukwueze is still out... I think [Rodrigo] Muniz is closer than Chukwueze right now."

Muniz hasn't played since Sept. 20 due to a muscular injury, and the manager said he has no timetable for his return. He hasn't even returned to training, so he's going to be sidelined for a few more weeks -- even in the best-case scenario. Muniz has one goal and one assist across five appearances (four starts) this season.
