Rogerio Injury: Dealing with pneumonia

Rogerio (knee/pneumonia) has not trained at Wolfsburg's pre-season camp, WAZ Online reports.

Rogerio missed the 2024/25 campaign with a knee injury. He was slowly working his way back into training during pre-season, but had to stop his recovery when he came down with pneumonia. He was already facing a race to be fit for the season-opener, and it seems unlikely that he will be available with his knee recovery halted. Even when fit Joakim Maehle is expected to be the top choice at left-back.
