Salih Ozcan News: Returns in friendly

Ozcan (knee) featured in the second half of Wednesday's 8-1 victory against Sportfreunde Siegen in a pre-season friendly, confirming his return from injury.

Ozcan suffered an LCL injury in mid-June with Turkey and made his return to team training this week. His injury appears to be behind him since he played the second half of Wednesday's friendly against Siegen, confirming he is back fit and available for the Black and Yellow. That said, he is expected to keep a rotational role in midfield heading into the 2025/26 season if he remains at the club.
