Santiago Moreno News: Signs with Fluminense

Moreno has completed a transfer to Fluminense from Portland, according to his former club.

Moreno is departing Portland as expected this summer, with the midfielder dealt to Fluminense in Brazil. This comes after five years in MLS with the Timbers, holding a regular spot in four of those seasons. He most recently started in 20 of his 22 appearances this season with Portland while notching four goals and five assists, a solid pick up for Fluminense. However, the Timbers will have to deal with the loss of a starter and will likely turn to Kevin Kelsy to fill that spot.
