Santiago Simon News: Moves to Toluca

Simon has signed with Toluca for the Apertura 2025 campaign after leaving Argentine club River Plate, the team announced Saturday.

Simon made 11 appearances (five starts) but failed to score or assist in the 2025 league season in Argentina. He'll now strengthen the Liga MX champions' depth for the rest of the year but may not see a lot action right away. His tackling and passing ability could be useful in central midfield, though he can also operate on the right flank, competing with players such as Franco Romero and Juan Pablo Dominguez.
