Stanislav Lobotka News: Busy in defense

Lobotka generated three tackles (two won), one clearance and one interception in Thursday's 2-0 defeat against Manchester City.

Lobotka was starting again Thursday, his fourth straight match with a start, playing 72 minutes. He would see most of his work in the defense after a red card to his club early, notching one interception, a clearance and three tackles. He should remain in this role moving forward and see most of his work defensively, with only one goal contribution in 32 appearances last season.
