Stefan Frei News: Officially clears protocol

Frei (concussion) has fully cleared concussion protocols, manager Brian Schmetzer confirmed Friday.

Frei was on the bench for Wednesday's Leagues Cup clash and is available for Sunday's trip to Galaxy. The goalkeeper missed almost a full month with the bad concussion, and is now back available. With Frei good to go, he should be in contention to return to his starting role in MLS action, which would send Andrew Thomas back to the bench.
