Stefan Frei News: Two saves in return

Frei recorded two saves and allowed one goal in Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Minnesota United.

Frei turned aside two of three Minnesota shots on target Saturday as Seattle fell in a narrow 1-0 defeat. The appearance marked Frei's first since missing five matches due to a concussion suffered on July 6th. In 19 starting appearances in 2025, Frei has allowed multiple goals on juts five occasions. The veteran will look to shake off the rust further when Seattle returns to league play Aug. 24 to host Kansas City.
