Steven Berghuis News: Decent start of season

Berghuis has scored one goal and provided two assists in the first four Eredivisie matches, starting the 2025/26 campaign in strong fashion before entering the Champions League season with Ajax.

Berghuis will remain Ajax's playmaker this season and has started in strong form, contributing to three goals in four league matches. The attacking midfielder will continue to orchestrate play from the number 10 position, dictating the game in open play as well as on set pieces. That role should provide him with plenty of chances created and goal contributions, beginning against Inter Milan next Wednesday.
