Botman suffered a head injury in Saturday's clash against Fulham that proved to be minor, as he only had a cut, coach Eddie Howe said in a press conference, according to NUFC Blog. "Sven's fine. I think he's just got a cut so there's no concussion there. A good decision from the on-field physio to take him off."

Botman has avoided any serious concussion injury as the head issue he suffered turned out to be only a cut. The center-back is available for the Magpies moving forward, which is good news since he started each of his last seven appearances across all competitions for Newcastle. He contributed three chances created, five tackles and 40 clearances to help the team secure four clean sheets.
