Temirlan Anarbekov News: Logs five-save clean sheet
Anarbekov had five saves and allowed zero goals in Tuesday's 0-0 draw versus Pafos.
Aleksandr Zarutskiy (undisclosed) was out, leaving Kairat to go to one of its backup GKs again for Tuesday. In his place for Kairat's first two Champions League games this season, Sherkhan Kalmurza conceded nine goals. So instead of an out-of-form Kalmurza, Kairat started Anarbekov, and the decision paid off. A five-save clean sheet is an impressive and difficult feat, so much so that the latter likely will continue starting, at least until Zarutskiy can go.
