Tim Kohler News: Departs RB Leipzig

Kohler has departed RB Leipzig and joined VfB Stuttgart's U21 side on a permanent move, his former club announced.

Kohler rose through the ranks of RB Leipzig's youth teams after joining the club in 2014. The 20-year-old appeared in several matchday squads for the senior team but never played for Leipzig. Last season, he gained valuable experience in the 3. Liga with SC Verl, making 26 appearances and scoring two goals in the Westphalia regional cup. As VfB Stuttgart's U21 side have already begun their third-division campaign, the defender will jump straight into action.
