Unai Gomez Injury: Won't face Sevilla

Gomez (thigh) is out for Sunday's match against Sevilla, according to manager Ernesto Valverde.

Gomez is still battling his thigh injury and will carry the injury into the new season, as he is unavailable for their opener. This does leave the club without some depth in the midfield, but it doesn't eliminate a regular starter. However, he will still look to be fit soon after featuring in 32 games (14 starts) last campaign.
