Valentin Gauthier News: Sent off in draw

Gauthier earned a red card in the 79th minute of Saturday's 1-1 draw with Pachuca.

Gauthier had a poor outing even before leaving his side with 10 men in the weekend match. It was his second consecutive start as Jaine Barreiro's partner at center-back. However, with the Uruguayan now banned for the upcoming meeting with Queretaro, Adonis Frias should be expected to regain his place in the lineup, though Paul Bellon is another viable option. Gauthier will be eligible again in a visit to Tigres on Sept. 13.
