Valentin Gauthier News: Solid in victory

Gauthier recorded two tackles (one won) and four clearances in Friday's 1-0 victory against Necaxa.

Gauthier stood out with a clearance off the goal line in addition to some defensive stats in his first league start for Leon. The offseason signing helped his side to its second clean sheet of the season as part of a center-back pairing with Jaine Barreiro, relegating Adonis Frias to a bench spot, but it's still unclear if that will continue to happen in future matches.
