Victor Guzman Injury: Dealing with muscle issue

Guzman didn't play against Necaxa, with coach Domenec Torrent saying he "suffered a muscle edema after the match against Mazatlan and was unable to make the squad", La Aficion reported Saturday.

Guzman had been productive defensively and made the score sheet for the first time in his latest performance, but a physical blow forced him to miss the week six win over Rayos. Both Sergio Ramos and Stefan Medina featured at center-back while Hector Moreno came off the bench in Guzman's absence. The young defender continues to work on his rehabilitation and is questionable for upcoming games.
