Mykolenko is making progress towards a return from his undisclosed injury that made him miss international duty with Ukraine and the last game with the Toffees. That said, the defender hasn't been ruled out for the Merseyside derby against Liverpool on Saturday and could maybe be part of the squad. This is good news since Mykolenko has been an undisputed starter at left-back for Everton and should claim that role back once at full fitness.
