Vladyslav Krapyvtsov News: Emergency duty to begin season

Krapyvtsov recorded two saves and allowed one goal in Friday's 3-1 loss to Rayo Vallecano.

For the 2025-26 La Liga, Girona maintained Krapyvtsov, though the team relegated him to reserve goalkeeper. But after starter Paulo Gazzaniga was sent off, his backup stepped in. Krapyvtsov is expected to be Girona's starting GK at Villarreal on Aug. 24 before the team uses Gazzaniga again beginning from Aug. 30 against Sevilla less than a week later.
