Kambwala suffered a hamstring tear in a pre-season friendly against Genoa, and the medical staff determined that surgery was the best solution in his case. He now begins his recovery after undergoing the procedure in Finland on Thursday morning. His absence will open space for Juan Foyth and Rafa Marin in the backline until he returns to full fitness.
